I would begin by saying that the best care my sister received after being diagnosed with early onset dementia/Alzheimer’s has been with Anna Karanja.
From the moment we went to visit the care home (it was called Deer Valley then) and saw how well kept, clean, and friendly they were, we quickly decided to place my sister, Sherry Beecher there. Anna took great care of Sherry, treating her as if she were her own family. There was never any urine or other putrid smells like many places you can find in private homes. It was very crisp and clean, the furniture was comfortable and welcoming to sit in, and they invited us to join them for holiday meals over the years.
Anna always kept me informed of any changes or needs that Sherry had experienced and even came to visit her when her days grew to a close and she was in hospice care at the very end. I value Anna as a friend and feel so thankful for the care she gave to my sister. There is no question that Anna helped give Sherry the best quality of life possible for her last years when her mind had dimmed and she no longer functioned on her own. I most highly recommend Anna’s care home for any loved one looking to get top notch personal care.
